Explore the rich and delicious world of pastries and chocolate

Sharon Heinrich is the culinary artist behind Paris Chez Sharon. She is a 44-year-old pastry chef who has been living her dream in Paris for the past decade. Born and raised in Haifa, she was introduced to French and France at the Alliance School and fell in love with the language and culture. This love for the culture, combined with her passion for baking, led her to a master class in pastry. She also participated in several certifications and workshops in Israel and at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.

Sharon’s two great loves, Paris and sweets, naturally merged when she decided to follow her dream and move to Paris. She created her blog, Paris Chez Sharon, which is dedicated to Paris, pastry, and everything in between. The blog gave her a chance to research Paris’ patisseries, chocolateries, and boulangeries. It also allowed her to meet the world’s best pastry chefs and chocolatiers. From them she gained even deeper knowledge and inspiration. Feeding on that inspiration (and chocolate mote likely) she discovered the many hidden gems in the city of lights. She continued to meed eager readers, gastronomes, and culinary leaders from around the world. On that solid foundation Paris Chez Sharon rests solid.

Sharon’s cooking is a reflection of her journey through Paris’ best pastry and chocolate shops. Some of her popular dishes include Mom’s Chocolate Cake, Mega Profiterole with Ice Cream and Hot Chocolate Sauce, Pear and Chestnut Cake for Grown-Ups, and Double Chocolate Cake. These dishes are not just meals; they are experiences, a journey of flavors and cultures.

With Paris Chez Sharon you won’t only learn the craft of a professional pastry chef. She is also an excellent companion if you’re going to Paris and are looking for a guide to the best boulangeries and cafés. You can either use her published guide on her website, or schedule a private tour with Sharon herself.

Bonne chance with the baking!
